Piero Manaresi

Piero Manaresi is Managing Partner of the Corporate M&A division at Scouting Capital & Family Advisors.
With over thirty years’ experience in corporate finance and special transactions, he has built his career across independent boutiques and major international advisory firms. Before joining Scouting Capital & Family Advisors, he was a Partner in PwC’s M&A Advisory team.
In 2000, he founded Aurea Corporate Finance, subsequently contributing to the creation of the international M&A network Mergers Alliance. In 2010, he was one of the founders of Ethica Corporate Finance, where he developed numerous transactions in the mid-market segment, consolidating a network of high-profile business and financial relationships.
Throughout his career, he has also distinguished himself as an expert witness in high-profile national cases, including the Parmalat and Bologna Calcio cases, and as a lecturer on the course “Corporate Crises and Financial Crimes” at the University of Bologna.
